What do you love most about NABA? The ability to connect with professionals and students that are like-minded, driven, and also look like me. This gives me the gentle push I need to step out of my comfort zone and grow personally, academically, and professionally.

How has NABA made an impact on you? 

As an incoming freshman at the U of M, the NABA family took me in and created a a welcoming environment where I was able to explore many different careers paths. From thereon, I have been able to secure 2 internships and a full-time offer as well!! Thank you NABA :)

What do you love most about NABA? The amount of opportunity for growth. As a professional, leader, and individual, NABA provides so many avenues for self-improvement.

How has NABA made an impact on you? 

NABA has given me a broader network, a second internship which led to a full-time offer, leadership experience, and most importantly, a forever family.

What do you love most about NABA? 

We are a family. Nobody looks out for the NABA family , like the NABA family. We want to see everyone win. We bond with each other like no other and when one person eats the family is happy, but unsatisfied. When we all eat, we all sit at the table, and then we set the next goal.

How has NABA made an impact on you? 

NABA has been in my life since I was 15/16 through ACAP. I was able to attain my first internship through NABA with Best Buy and my second internship through NABA as well. I have met some of my closest friends who have become family. This has been some of my most enjoyable leadership positions and I have learned so much from NABA.

What I love the most about NABA is the opportunities and knowledge it provides for black students pursing business.

How has NABA made an impact on you?

 NABA has impacted me by introducing me to different companies, engaging in networking events, and meeting new students.

NABA has helped me get out of my comfort zone, network, gain internship experience, gain an understanding of how to navigate Corporate America, and learn about companies and career opportunities.

What do you love most about NABA? 

Getting to meet new people and grow a community and learn about companies opportunities.

How has NABA made an impact on you? 

NABA has allowed me to grow professionally and academically. I met a lot of great people in NABA that are still at the school and also those who have graduated already. I like how everyone in NABA is super friendly and resourceful. With the help of NABA, I was able to figure out where I would like to take my career. Even though, NABA will be virtual this school year, I am hoping to see new faces at our NABA meetings and help new members succeed and adjust to school life. We lift as we climb here!

The people! It's so great to see that many individuals with similar ambitions and goals all together in one place.

How has NABA made an impact on you? 

NABA has helped develop my career skills and made me feel more confidant when it came to putting those skills (interviewing, netowkring, etc) into practice.

What I love the most about NABA is that I am able to connect with likeminded people about future career goals and opportunities, which serves as a sense of motivation for me.

NABA has provided me with so many resources and connections in which I can utilize as a Black professional in the future.
